There are two very different projects people mean by "home theater," and the honest first question is which one you want.
The first is a living-room system: a wall-mounted display, in-wall or in-ceiling surround speakers, a subwoofer placed where it actually works rather than where it fits, every wire hidden, and one remote that a guest can pick up and use. Most Tucson homes we work in fall into this category, and it is a one- or two-day install in a finished house.
The second is a dedicated theater room — tiered seating, acoustic treatment on the walls, a projector and screen or a large direct-view display, light control, and a room built so the sound behaves. That is a design-and-build project measured in weeks, usually coordinated with a builder or remodeler.
We have been doing both in Tucson since 1994. Our founder spent the early part of his career designing and installing nightclub and commercial audio systems across the US and Mexico, which is a useful background when the question is why a room sounds wrong. Free room assessment
We measure the space, look at seating positions, sight lines, ambient light and where the wire can go — then design to the room you have.
Options at more than one price
You get a scalable design so you can start with the display and surround and add projection or shades later.
Install and calibrate
Our own technicians run wire, mount and rack, then calibrate speaker levels, distances and video settings for your actual seating position.
